We're back!

After a long, much needed break, I’ve got the site back online and have got back into my photography. Lots has changed. My primary income source, Jill got a promotion, kids are growing fast, and I’m getting into flash photography.

Flash has always and continues to bewilder me. The best thing we can do when we don’t know something? Research. Practice. Try everything. Find what works. I’m still not 100%, but I’m going to try some fun stuff this weekend before I shoot my niece’s senior photos a week from tomorrow. I have high standards and expectations for myself, so I need to get it right.

In October, I have a wedding job coming up. My pal Leslie’s son is finally marrying his sweetheart. I can’t wait to capture their day! But also very nervous. It’s in a restaurant, so flash will be required. I must make sure it’s PERFECT.

In other news, I got a new lens, a new drone, and a new love of photography. I can’t wait to show you some new stuff!
