A day of firsts

It’s Sunday night and I just realized I forgot to blog yesterday.

it was a day of firsts. First time renting a studio to shoot in, and my first boudoir shoot. The studio was beautiful and it filled me with ideas for when (not if) the time comes to create my own studio space.

it was also my first time shooting boudoir. My wife has shot the previous ones and I edited, but it was my time to step up to the plate. I think it went well! The model was Jill’s cousin Erika. She was nervous, not to be in her underwear around me, but because she wasn’t confident in posing. But Jill reassured her that she would pose her and the pictures would be beautiful!

…and they are. I spent all day today editing and they’re up on the site now. I am relieved that Erika LOVES them! I can’t wait to print a few to see how they look on paper!

i can’t wait to show a few off!
